＃12 きれい系とは？

前回、色んなコーデの違いやポイントを説明しました。

今回はコーデの中でも「きれい系」とは何かを説明します！

色んなポイントやコーディネート例をお見せするので、ぜひきれい系のコーデに挑戦してみてくださいね。

Today, we will provide an explanation of what we mean when we say ''Kirei Kei'' and provide advice on how you could build a kirei style outfit by yourself, with photo examples.

きれい系とは？ 　What is Kirei-kei?

きれい系はフェミニン・大人らしいファッション。ふんわりからエレガントまで、色んなイメージが含まれます。きれい系は20代〜３０代のイメージを持つ方もいるかもしれませんが、上品なスタイルなので、年齢を問わず素敵に見えると思います！ポイントは、堅苦しく見えすぎない上品さです。

But since it is an elegant style, I think it can look good at any age! The point is Elegant without looking too stuffy.

きれい系のコーディネート　examples？

きれい系はフォーマルなスタイルとカジュアルなスタイルが混ざり合ったものです。

エレガントな印象を保ちつつ、日常使いができますよ。

Please think of Kirei style as a style at the junction of formal and street style. It's very elegant while still being wearable as an everyday fashion style. Without further ado, please take a look at some example of kirei style.

きれい系のシルエット　The Kirei-kei silhouette

女装さんのきれい系コーデにとって最も重要なのは、砂時計型のシルエットを意識することです。肋骨からウエストにかけてのラインを強調し、胴体が長く見えすぎないようにすることが大切ですよ。

The most important part for josou is to remember that kirei-kei involves an hourglass figure. So you want to accentuate the waist area around your floating ribs, to not make your torso look too long.

また、短くするところ、長くするところを分けることでバランスが取れます。腕をすべて見せるなら、脚はロングスカートで隠す。ショートスカートを選ぶなら、カーディガンを着るか、ノースリーブではなく半袖や半長袖のトップスを選ぶと良いでしょう。膝下までのロングブーツを合わせることでバランスを取ることだってできます！

There is always a balance between short and long. If you show all your arms, the legs might be covered by a long skirt. If you choose a short skirt, then a cardigan can be used, or a top that has short/semi-long sleeves instead of no sleeves. You could also bring balance by having long boots that reach under your knees!)

靴に関して、きれい系のコーディネートにはある程度のヒールは必須だと思います。ヒールは細かったり高かったりしなくても構いませんが、脚を長く見せ、姿勢を整えてくれるため、「キレイ」という印象を与えることが出来ます。パンプスやブーツがコーデに取り入れやすいですよ。

For the shoes, I think some amount of heel is a must. The heel does't have to be very thin or high, but since it makes your legs look longer and changes the posture a little bit, I think it's important to get the impression of ''Kirei''. Pumps or boots are generally safe bets.

色について　　Colors

服装において色はとても重要です。

まず、きれい系のコーデでよく使われる色は２種類あります。

ニュートラルカラー：

ニュートラルカラーとは、白・黒・茶色系などの何にでも合わせやすい色のことです。クローゼットの中にあるお洋服同士、色々な組み合わせでコーディネートできると素敵ですよね。何着かニュートラルカラーの服を持っておき、これらの色を基調にすれば、ほぼどんな色でも組み合わせることができますよ。

Colors are always important when dressing yourself.

First, let's break down some color notions for outfits:

Neutral colors are colors that go with everything. If you are building a wardrobe, you usually want to be able to wear different pieces together to make many different outfits. These are generally tones of white, black and even brown. You can make pretty much any color with these and it will not look bad.

また、キレイ系では通常ソフトカラーを使用します。ソフトカラーとは、淡い色、つまり白を混ぜて鮮やかさを抑えた色を指します。

その中でもやや鮮やかで可愛らしい印象のものは「パステルカラー」、グレーを混ぜて少し落ち着いた雰囲気にしたものは、「ダール（くすんだ色）」と呼びます。最後に、暗い色を混ぜたものは「ミュート」と呼びます。これらの用語を知っておくと好みの色を人に伝えやすくなりますよ。ピンク、青、黄色、紫など、どの色にもパステル、ダール、ミュートのバリエーションが存在します。

In addition to neutrals, Kirei-kei usually uses soft colors. By soft colors, we mean pale colors, colors that have been mixed with white to make them a little less vivid. If they are still somewhat vivid and cute, they're generally pastels. If they are mixed with some grey to make them a little moodier, we call them dull. Lastly, if they are mixed with some darker color, we call them muted. These terms can help you name the sort of colors you like and find out more! No matter if it's pink, blue, yellow, violet, etc. they all have variations of pastel, dull and muted.

さて、これらの色をコーディネートするには、

まとまりのある服装にするための簡単な方法が3つあります：

カマイユ(Camaieu)

フランス語で「同じ色・異なるトーン（明度・彩度）の組み合わせ」を意味します。同じ色の中で明るいものと濃いものを1つのコーディネートに取り入れることで、簡単にまとまりのあるコーディネートを作ることが出来ます。

アクセントカラー

全体を同じ色にまとめ、靴下やベルトなどの一部分だけにアクセントとなる別の色を組み合わせることを言います。

衣装全体に同じ色を散りばめる

コーディネートの中に同じ色を何ヶ所かに散りばめたい場合、３つのアイテムを同じ色にすることを意識するとバランスが良くなります。例えば髪と靴が茶色なら、茶色のバッグや茶色のベルトを加えてみましょう。これで完璧です！

There are three easy ways to have a cohesive outfit:

Camaieu

Have different versions of the same color in one outfit. Some light, some darker. It's the easiest way to make sure everything matches.

Accent color

That's when you have one color for your outfit, and then a single piece of another color to make it pop

Repeated color through the outfit

A good guide for balance when mixing color is to ensure the same colors comes back at least three time in the outfit. You want to create a rhythm. Your hair(wig color) and shoes count in this. If your hair and shoes are brown, and you add a brown bag or a brown belt? Here you go, that works!

バリエーション　Variations

きれい系に近い、いろんなスタイルを試してみるのもおすすめです！

例えばきれい系の中でもクールなイメージのものがお好きなら、きっと「K-POP」スタイルもお好きですよ。

逆に柔らかい、優しげな印象のスタイルがお好きなら、「お姉さん系」を試してみてください。

あまり派手でなく、古典的で少しきっちりとしたなスタイルをお求めなら？「清楚系」という言葉がぴったりかもしれません。洗練された上品さの中に少しのセクシーさを求めるなら、「港区女子」をイメージしているのではないでしょうか？

最後に、思いっきり華やかで女の子らしいスタイルと試してみたければ、「白ギャル」をチェックしてみてください！

Some styles are close to kirei-kei, and you can explore them if you want variations of what you have already tried. For instance, if you want a cooler, colder image, maybe something more inspired by Kpop could be for you. If you want to look softer, like a gentle, accessible lady, consider using the term ''oneesan''.

What if you want something impeccable, traditional and a little more formal? Maybe the term you are looking for is seiso. If you want something a little on the sexy side, refined and elegant, maybe you are thinking of Minato girls 港区女子?

Lastly、if you want something less natural, more bold, but still feminine, look up Shiro gyaru!
